Margaret River will come alive with the onset of Australia’s elite Wave Sailing talent to battle out the 2010 National Titles.
Hosted by Windsurfing WA from Wednesday February 3rd through to Saturday February 6th, this competition location is not only one of the best wave sailing destinations on the west coast, it’s also one of Australia’s premier tourism precincts with more than half a million tourists coming to visit throughout the year.
The 2010 competition is focussed on not only crowning the best Australian Wave Sailors for each division; it’s also establishing a elimination structure which will attempt to promote both national comradeship with a touch of state-vs-state rivalry.
With a big thanks to our industry and corporate sponsors, this year’s event will also have significant prize money up for grabs, with the Nation’s top wave sailors competing for more than just a title |

New Sail Repairer in town!
Jesper’s Sail Repair is a new workshop started by Jesper. Here is what he has to say about it
Jesper: When I stopped working with Severns Sails in mid December I immediately started my repair shop. I invested in a few good industrial sewing machines and got some stock of materials.
The workshop is based from my home in Applecross.I have a lot of industry experience through the years. In Denmark I worked for North Sails (boats) for 3 years, in Maui I worked for Barry Spanier (at that time Gaastra) , sampling all their proto type sails and here in Perth I worked with Severne Sails for 7 years.
All sails have shape, and it is absolutely key, to keep this the right way when you repair it, or the performance will suffer. Having worked on sail designs for years, and know how important this is, as well as to match the materials with the right stretch characteristic etc.
My aim is to make the best and strongest sail repairs, in a quick turnaround time to get sailors back on the water to enjoy the breezes. I have a healthy amount of stock of different materials, so I can match all brands in the best possible way.
Drop off and pick up is normally through the windsurf shops. 2nd Wind, Windsurfing Perth, Windshack, Surf & Sails, SOS and Windforce. Drop off/ pick up at workshop is only by appointment.
Any enquires please call Jesper directly at: 0439978708
